WALEED ALY, HOST: Would you please welcome Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese.
PETER HELLIAR, HOST: PM, we usually reach out to you. You reached out to this time. You're not the most important person in the room today. What would you love to say to Carrie?
ANTHONY ALBANESE, PRIME MINISTER: Absolutely I'm not. This is Carrie's day. I just wanted to say just a big shout out for your warmth and your humanity which just shone through. You talk about stories there, but you always shone through with the people behind the stories and what it really meant. That made a difference. That's why people like you. That's why people feel like they know you, because you weren't frightened of showing a lot of yourself onscreen and in the way that you interviewed people. And also the way that you talked about issues like brain cancer, and did such an extraordinary job raising awareness but also raising important funds. Well done and I wish you all the best for your future.
CARRIE BICKMORE, HOST: Thank you so much, Prime Minister. My parting words to you would be please keep the brain cancer mission, please keep funding it and please keep the pressure on so we can find a cure.
PRIME MINISTER: Enjoy the party down there, guys. It sounds like a lot of fun there, more fun than Parliament House.
HELLIAR: It's a lot of fun.
PRIME MINISTER: Not a high bar, I know.
HELLIAR: We have to go, we have King Charles on Zoom.
